Where is it?

The vessel is a bit of a fixer upper, but I am sure that it isn't beyond the skills of the Scuttlebutters!

A virtual pint to the first correct answer, including the name of the vessel - and PeteCooper is barred!

Re: Where is it?

Well done! Please accept a virtual pint:

I took the photo and several more detailed ones when visiting Stanley on business a couple of weeks ago. From a yottie point of view it was interesting - as well as being a well known graveyard of ships that only just made it round Cape Horn, it is also a graveyard of several yachts; at the end of the Carnache there are several interesting looking hulks. However, my guide - a person who has been operating a yacht from Stanley for many years - knew little about the history of any of them.

Re: Where is it?

Well, thank you. Cheers.
I was there in 1984 and Jhelum hasn't changed much. The whole area I found absolutely beautiful and the hulks |(Princess Elizabeth?) were crying out to be restored (by someone with much much deeper pockets than me). My sailing there was limited to a lazer but it was a lovely sailing area with no shortage of wind.
Cheers
John
