Hi,
I'm looking for info about a kalik 30. I know they were build in Holland or Taiwan but know nothing on the build qualitiy, behaviour at sea, common failures, sailing capabilities,... Anybody out there who can help?
Thanks

There is a Kalik 40 for sale at Southsea marina, built by Gary Hoyt. Very common in far east and down under. The one at Southsea has been for sale for some time but looks a cracking boat and well fitted out inside. Obviously the 30 will be much smaller, but assume build quality would be the same.
Must go, Matron is coming

About a year and a half ago I was asked to quote for a delivery on a kalik 30, I had never heard of one before and spent some time searching the internet for info. All I found was a couple of brokers that had one on their books but no real facts. However a friend of mine did do the delivery trip from Ireland to Gran Caneria and she said the boat was typical of a Dutch or Scandanavian design of the 1980s. ie very seaworthy.
Good luck DOUG
