There used to be a guy in Villmoura that did that. I have not been thre for a few years but ask at the marina there or try the yacht-brokers they will know who is doing what around the place.

My best advice is to ring the UK agent and get the number of the official Portugese agent for your make of raft. I didn't do that last year and even though my raft has a 3 yr recert period, the local agent I used, returned it with only a 1 year cert. saying it was not possible to give a 3 yr cert in Portugal. (this is not true as I've since spoken to the Portugese agent).Prior to him taking it I insisted on the 3 yr cert and he agreed, only to bring it back with one year. I now need it doing again this year but will not be using him again. Can't give you his name right now as all the details are on the boat but just beware if you've a "3 year" raft. Dave

Me too. I have a 3-year raft (hermetically sealed in a plastic bag. I needed an inspection certificate for the ARC so took it to a local agent in Las Palmas. All he was supposed to do was open the canister to check the bag was still airtight. Instead he did a full service and charged accordingly. He also informed me that as he wasn't an approved service agent for my make of raft the warranty was now void.
Back in the UK I had the next service done and went along to watch. It turned out that the raft had been wrongly folded, there was now no sealed inner bag and the painter had been packed in such a way it would have been virtually impossible to pull out.
So beware. Make sure you know what you're getting before you part with your raft.
