Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced marina on either side of the French Italian border where a boat could be left for the month of July, or am I asking too much.

San Remo is new, good and helpful. Dunno about others. I beliebve in july there will be space as many will crusise to the french side likely to be more crowded.

We stayed in San Remo last week and it was €65 for the night. The previous two nights we stayed in Antibes and that worked out at €37 per night. Try Finale Ligure, its quiet and really nice but a bit shallow on the way in - 2.10m.

be careful tho - those marinas all seem priced all over the place cos they have different size/price bands. Evenb if there's a size for you it also depends whether they have right size available or a size biggr (which you pay for).
*And* at this time of year they are moving from low to high season rates. So some are already high season whereas other mite be mid season rates.

San Remo - 3 days FREE in the public harbour. Zero security though.
