I have a sick Volvo 2001 engine and after a local mechanics laboured messing about, I fear theres more wrong than when he started.
I really need a mechanic with Volvo experience - can anyone recommend such in the Ionian area.? We are in the South Peloponesse just now and making our way towards the Levkas / Preveza area, where I fancy we will stand the most chance of finding such.
Any recommendations please?

Contract Yacht Services (0030 2645024490) on the harbour quay and Paleros (Robert Meyer) (0030 2645 029117) in the marina are both good with Yanmar. I understand that they both also specialise in Volvo. Robert and his team are particularly helpful.

Thanks for that - I will be there in the next week or so and contact them. If anyone knows any others please let me know! After dismal experiences with over confident mechanics in Greece (The confidence falls in direct proportion to the time passing), I need to be really sure they know what they're doing before they start!

What's the problem? Can any of the Volsplutter experts on R2R help?

you could try Simon @ Sivota Yacht Services. You might want to stop off here on your way up to Levkas Town , Sivota is on the Sth side of Levkada before you go up the Meganissi Channel good safe anchorage as well as space on the quay ( sorry if you know it already.)

Thanks for the info all.
Michael - I recently had problems with an injector and fuel pump, now resolved. With repeated removal, the injectors now need new copper sleeves for the heads. They are starting to blow back slightly, creating mess and stink. So, I need someone who can change them and has the proper removal, insertion tools.
Also, maybe I'm being slow, but who or what is R2R?
