Some scroats have cut the chain link fence at Oakley Wharf in Porthmadog and stolen a number of O/B motors, one of which is our club safety boat 25HP Merc 4-stroke. They then went further down the wharf and broke into the sailing club and lifted more small motors and made off with them. All of this on last Wed/Thu.

Anyone seeing any sales "activity" in this area, please PM me or call the plod in. Thanks.

Are you watching Ebay, you can save a search and refer to it daily, it will update.

When TC was broken into while on a drying mooring (along with about 7 other boats) the thieves were caught driving off without paying for £6 of petrol in Prestatyn. The rozzers opened the boot to find an Aladdin's cave of gear. Just suggesting, it probably isn't locals, prolly someone who holidayed there in summer and realised rich pickings if he / she came back. One of the thieves who did us was a she.

Best of Luck.

Did the maritime plod appear, I hear that Gwynedd now have a dedicated rozzer for the harbours?
