Is there any way of searching for registered users by boat location so you can see what they have posted and/or PM them to ask for specific advice or arrange a meet up?

You can't do it with the forum software, but have a look at this frappr map I set up so people can enter their boat locations

I can't seem to get your map to work for me.... tried adding myself to it, but it wouldn't find any of the places I tried. It would find Truro, but then I couldn't move it to where I actually am. Any suggestions???

It's just a rough guide to location. It can't have every village in the world in it's database, so you just have to go with the nearest location to you.

I can understand that, but.... someone has got Truro as their location, yet managed to get the pin near to Camborne. How did they manage that?

Thanks for that; I've added mine (in Kip at the moment). Obviously needs a bit more publicity to get more people on it but it's a great idea.
