"The Madeira" right on the roundabout at the end of the pier above the entrance to the Aquarium. Just been renovated, very interesting interior, good pub style menu:- steaks, burgers, fish etc. Background music not too loud to inhibit, but "modern" style, so may not suit all! But the prices are really good; shared starter, gammon and veg and scampi and chips etc, shared desert,[we're really poor!] bottle of wine, large bottle sparkling water, coffees - £33.00. Couple of miles trip from marina, but easily done for a change from their higher prices.
