Why are some pages wider than the screen?
      #1609475 - 10/10/2007 21:16

Most posts are easily readable, as the number of characters per line and wrapround are controlled so that a line fits the screen. Some however seem to have excessive width built in and a scroll bar appears at the bottom of the screen. You CAN read the whole post by scanning left and right but it is a real pain. Can I do anything to my profile or internet settings to alter these posts to fit?

Nothing you can do

It due to people posting over large pictures, or putting lots of letters together with no spaces, pushing out the right side. Like this xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You can still improve things. every time someone is inconsiderate enough to cause the problem, flame them really badly!

That did not quite do what you intended. If you had said:
