How about adding a "Fuel Price" Forum for next season.
Contributors could report the price per litre they had actually recently paid, or seen posted, at ports, marinas etc for fuel.
Fuel prices seems to vary considerably and it would be useful to know, before setting out, whether the next port of call is likely to be cheaper or more expensive. One could then decide, if one had sufficient fuel plus reserve to get to the next re-fuelling point, whether to re-fuel before departure or on arrival at the destination?
This could be very useful for a power boater though perhaps not of such great interest for the sailing person.
Just a thought.

separated by country , sort of diy spreadsheet thingy, sorted by port/marina, each line with poster name, date, price/litre, in reverse date order latest at the top, max say ten lines (or 1 page) per port, with bit of text to qualify qty bought, bribe, cash/credit card. Earliest posts fall off the bottom.

Thanks for the idea...good and useful, provided people file honest and accurate answers on it. We'll have a think about that one.

It might encourage some of the greedy fuelling points to look at their prices when they start losing throughput.

As someone not yet on the water (but soon hopefully) and in a dreaded despised petrol boat how about including the availability of petrol....

Okay, I think that's a good idea too.
