Hi Kim,
Just wondered whether it was possible to have the "flat" posts as a default setting?
It is a pain clicking from thread to thread, plus flat means you always get to read them in the right order.
At the moment you have to click the thread, then click "flat", then click "show all" if there are more than a certain amount.
I appreciate that as it is it loads slightly quicker, but even a message with 20 replies loads in about 5 seconds max anyway.
Certainly most other boards I have used seem to favour the "flat" format.
Any thoughts?
Ari.

You can have Flat as the preferred option. That is how mine is set. Just go to USER OPTIONS and select how you wish to see everything.

Ari,
As Byron has stated here you can set your user options to display flat as default. We would rather keep threaded as the master default so that first-timers and unregistered browsers get the fastest possible download, esp. for those on slower connections.
Let me know if you have any problems.

Thats amazing, not only does it open flat now, but it jumps down to the unread messages!!!
Incredable!
