After lunch yesterday my mother in law gave me a copy of Shrimpy. Hardback, dust cover, 1981 first edition in near fine condition.
She bought it at a junk shop for 25p
Today I told her what it was worth.
"Bully for you" was her reply. There IS a God!

The best way to read it is on the 'net' with google earth open as well. You can keep flicking back and forth - and opening the photos labeled, for an enhanced perspective of Shane Acton's famous voyage

I got a signed copy from a chandlers of all places for £4. Great story, badly written. Read it here for free: http://members.lycos.co.uk/marybonney/PDFs/Shrimpy.pdf
