Had a few hours out on the Bay today Sun shining perfect breeze, God in his heaven .Icing on the cake I now have a mainsail that doesnt look like the side panel of billy Smarts Big top. (Cheers Don)
Spirits raised several notches. Just thought I would share that with you.

You're a lucky man Graham. I spent the day happily pottering in the garden enjoying the sun, but `i always twitch when it's NW and clear. my favourite wind of all. Chilly but powerful. I wish I had been sailing today. I'm glad you made some use of it. nicki

Cheers Nicki Original plan was a short shakedown cruise to Portishead with a few friends who appear on here from time to time. Tommorowws forecast binned that idea but todays breeze and sun more than made up for it.

Hi Graham - yes, what a glorious day. Our yard was full of busy boaters in the final panic to get boats ready for the crane-in on Saturday 5th. Pray for calm in Burnham on sea that evening, won't you. Ken
