I made enquiries on the cost of servicing a RFD raft, and the guy reckoned about £350, and said it was an anual service for this make and said thet it might not be worth servicing next year. Must say I thought this very expensive for a service. Would be as well buying a 4 man new for not much more.

I would query that, I have an RDF sesaver R, the service cost was about right lasr year but next one is not due for 3 years. I have a seperate equipment pack attached to the raft with torches flares etc that means I do not rely on any of the stuff in the raft pack exepth the raft itself, this pack is checked anually and the equipment is of much better quality. Means I done worry to much about service intervals.

Blimey, my old RFD 4 man cost me about £100 p.a. for servicing.
