Last summer our husbands purchased a fairline 19 which fell firmly into the project category.
It was always their intention to refurbish this much loved old tub; however, their efforts have been hampered by work commitments and a complete lack of skills, tools, and knowledge (they've finally acknowledged this!).
This is where we need your help. In particular someone fairly local to us (Huntingdon, Cambs) who can replace the rotten handrails, plywood in the cockpit and a basic refit for the cabin for cash reward.
We would be grateful of any offers of help or contacts via the private messaging.
Thanks for looking

I admire their inspiration. It certainly is a project. Do be a little careful. Even when done and with a decent outboard a little boat like this is only going to be worth around £5- £6k, in my opinion and possibly less. That does not normally buy very much carpentry skill these days. You may actually be better off scrapping it.
