Joe,
With all due respect and being well aware of your circumstances, you have nonetheless spent two years or more sitting in a marina - not much is likely to go wrong there is it?
Give us another report when you get to the Azores - are you off soon, it's Spring I believe . . .

So, mr webcraft, the equipment is not in use at all then ???.. it hasn't done the appropriate testing for your needs - ? so be it - for you.. the vast majority has done many thousands of sea miles and is still perfect... most equipment is and has been in everyday use for 4 years You really seem to have a bee in your bonnet due to my negative comments on your global warming baseless theories and pulpit sermons on such..
tssshhh tshhhh
Anyways, on with the point of the thread which is - what works well for you.. it's easy to pick a single piece of equipment and say that such and such a make is rubbish or unreliable.. it is the things that work that I am sure others would like to know...

Which liquid metal did you use Web ?... had some in the UK, cant get it here.. darn good stuff.. have some epoxy 'metal' which is good.. repaired a shaft to the whitlock steering with it (where the drive cog for the underdeck pilot fits) . excellent. Joe
