Yes, this is valuable 'real' information, not those bogus stats. A chap berthed next to me makes marine and RV LEDs. He tells me that the market started to fall last year and this year it's dead. His main business is German, French, Italian, Swiss, Nordic motorhome and caravanners touring Southern Spain. I have hardly seen any vans around here this winter - usually there are dozens of them. Far fewer tourists of a certain kind than usual. 'This' kind of tourist is probably careful with his money and stops spending in lean times, rather than borrowing to keep spending? Anyway, this is a little more 'real' data from the 'real' economy.
