Am I correct to assume that when an 'R' appears in the LH column when viewing RECEIVED PMs, it means that I have replied to that PM?
I ask because I feel sure I have replied to one, and an 'R' is present ... but my reply has not appeared in my SENT messages.
(thanks in advance Brendan )

"R" does mean replied to.
The "your PM has been sent" page only seems to appear sporadically at the mo.
Retaining a copy as sent isn't a default option, it has to be selected each time you send a PM.(If of course you want to retain a copy).

Just to elaborate on Colmce's reply, if you want to save a sent message, you need to tick the box that says 'I want to keep a copy of this message' which is under the text window when you type your message, You need to remember to do this every time.

Thanks both Colmce and Brendan for confirming that the 'R' means what I assumed.
Yes, that's almost certainly the reason. I do normally tick the 'keep' box as a matter of course but it's quite possible I simply missed this time. Intriguing nevertheless why the original developer chose 'not to keep' as the default option.
