Hi
I'm coming to leg service time again and can see that I need to change 4 stainless and hose Hydaulic hoses on the legs. I did this 2 years ago and 4 hoses cost me €175 each for genuine volvo parts and they hav'nt lasted.
Has anyone had any made anywhere in the UK that are good quality and at what sort of price?

Look up PIRTEK in yellow pages and see what they can do. They work on Lorries but can do boaty stuff. They make the hoses up on site.

You can make your own hoses up online if you know the fittings size etc. HERE and they will mail them out to you.

Having tried (and failed) to get some stainless hoses custom made for my outdrives,eventually had to get them made with "ordinary" metal couplings,they have lasted for about four years now and are still going strong.They only real problem is that they tend to be larger and more rigid than the proper stainless Volvo stuff and carefull routing to avoid crushing the hoses is required.
