Where to play for the day ?
      #1849547 - 06/05/2008 23:02

The latest toy has opened up a whole new playing field for me as i can now take the boat to the water I have the Thames from Tower to Marlow covered and the Wey Navigation .
I'm looking for nice spots to potter around for the day rather than a trip so any tips please ?
Now the fantastic new toy ...................

Oh , i forgot . I live in London so would like to get home at the end of the day but staying in a hotel or b&b is cool .

Look, how are you going to strim that Acer if you get the Merc wet?

Got to be a circumnavigation of London,up the old Grand Union, turn right, pop out at Limehouse onto the salty bit and ride the flood up to Brentford...And if you stop at all the worthy pubs for a half, should only take about a week...

That Acer Sir will be a fine table one day ! I'm growing my own Maple you see I can do the Union etc on Cuchilo but it would be nice to scout out spots just to see if it's worth a trip on Cuchilo .

Recomend "Lindsay's lawn" Sheperton, nice location and Sheperton Village near by.
