I had exactly the same problem, recently. Chandler and importer (both in NL) were very helpful and gave me immediately a replacement. This one only produces minor static. Of course this should be totally absent. But I can live with it. After this experience I found this thread and I copied them to the the chandler and importer. Very useful and many thanks to the contributors.
I am afraid that the tricolour LED equivalent could cause far more static because of higher power consumption and I will not replace the 25W bulb.
The brand is well known and the anchorlight LED costs €73. Also the VHF is a well known brand.

I get similar interference on the SSB radiotelephone from the two 9-LED clusters I fitted on the chart table - I'm ashamed to report that I having pointed it out to the man who sold them (response: "That's odd") I did nothing more than add it to my list of unsolved problems.

I put the replacement bulb in and it works fine, no static on VHF. Good custumer service from Calibra marine and so far so good with the LED bulb.
