I used it on my Brazillian mahogany topsides. It gives a lovely matt finish but I think you need to keep topping up regularly with the finishing coat to keep it looking good. I particularly enjoyed the lemony smell of the stuff and it was very easy to apply and quick to dry.

I tried Endeavour Oil on my mahogany topsides. It was easy to apply but does require top up coats to maintain it. It looked OK at first but then went dull when successive top up coats were applied. I've now gone back to varnish brightwork. This is a lot more effort to maintain, but she's worth it! I'm not sure why you want to treat your decks. I have teak and I just scrub that with salt water. Burgess Woodsealer may be a cheaper substitute to apply to the deck?

We tried Endeavour oil on our cockpit seat tops, grab rails, rubbing strake, hatch surround etc. It looks lovely when it goes on but what disappointed us, despite being willing to keep topping it up, is that it seemed to attract dirt even out on the mooring (let alone the yard) and we ended up with a dark grey effect...... We have sanded back and are now on Sikkens Novatech.

Afraid I concur with the other posters, I was extremly dissappointed, I tried it on cockpit grating and wish I had not bothered, I now intend to sand and leave natural
