I need a couple of leisure batteries, have done the usual web searches and ebay. Best I can find so far is about £86 each for sealed 115Ah. Any suggestions.
thanks

That doesn't seem to be too bad a price. I bought 3 x 140Ah ones from www.batteries4leisure.co.uk last year & paid £82.00 ea inc Vat & Delivery. Just looked up the website and see they are now £163.00 ea. And inflation is 2.7%?
They'll probably be dearer next week, so I'd go for it.

Hi Kevin,
I bought this type: Battery or it may have been this one: Battery can't recall which way the terminals are wired. These were the biggest I could find that would fit in the battery boxes. Yours being newer may have bigger boxes.
Cheers

You are unlikely to do better than that. After a lot of reserch I've bought Bosch (same as Varta) 115Ah from Costco at 86 pounds incl VAT. In Spain (where my boat is) these are 250 euros + VAT I'm tempted to load my car up with batteries, drive out there and pay for this years boating.
Oh yes! there are type 0 and type 1 terminal layouts. If you get the wrong one you may have some electrical lead length problems.
