Great piccies, I would love to have the bottle (and gonads) to take on such a crossing. Maybe in a few years.

Thanks, I won't be in a rush to do it again in anything less than 40ft!
But it's out of my system now, your pictures of Llandwyn look great, one of our favourite places, no doubt I'll see you on the water this summer.

Great pics, & well done. Glad to see not all the girlies needed wetsuits. I found it was surprisingly warm for the time of year in the water over the Bank Holiday.

Sorry that we missed you in Conwy.
I've shown the girls your picture, they are considering growing beards now to keep warm in the water!

We have been waiting for a window for years, it just never seemed to happen with work, weather, crew, tides, sill times, family commitments etc etc, all big considerations in a small boat.
Two other factors that helped immensley with the decision to go and then keep going was the assistance and advice of forum members and knowing that Holyhead CG was watching us all the way.

DOH! You given my secret away!
Some years back I met a young couple that had done a round Anglesey trip in an even smaller sportboat. It started out lovely, but there are some quite dodgy bits when you go round the corners of Anglesey. I met them at PD, she was white & shivering & he was suffering from the first stages of hypothermia! But they hadn't planned the trip or prepared properly. I reckon they either learnt a lot, or sold the boat next day! Good to see you doing it properly!

Yeah, me too. Lets pledge to have a North Wales run over the Irish pond. Last weekend would have been a stormer. Next weekend the raggies are going over from Porthmadog.

They will need a bit more wind than last weekend. Hope they need 'motoring cones' all season

82 NM, Conwy faiway to the safe water mark at Malahide.
With the running around into Dublin we covered 214Nm.
