I was hoping that someone could shed somelight on the Chuck paine designed Victoria yacht. I am interested to know about the characteristic and the range of Yachts and are they still in current production. Thanks

Try contacting them directly:

Victoria Yacht Sales Ltd
Stone Pier Yard, Warsash, Southampton SO31 9FR, UK
tel: +44 (0) 1489 885400   fax: +44 (0) 1489 88534

As far as I recall (faulty memory cells!) the original builder went belly up a year or two back and the above organisation took over sales and service. Not sure whether manufacture still takes place. There were certainly 26, 30 and 38 footers. There may also have been a 32 or a 34 or a 36. perhaps. Good reputation as blue water cruisers.

You're welcome - friends bought a V30 a couple of seasons back, and they're very pleased. Only oddity is thte canoe stern on the 26 and 30. Don't know if that extended further up the range.

The 34 has a more conventional stern, as does the 38.

Take a look at http://www.harbourmarine.co.uk/.

They seem to have a special relationship with Victoria yachts.
