Shortly heading W from Turkey via Datcha for 3-4 wks trip, what recommendations on where not to miss, and where to avoid. Peace and quiet a priority, prefer anchorages to sloppy town harbours. Water, fuel and grocery stops useful too.
32' yacht with 1.6m draft.
Cheers!

This is where we went in the Cyclades late April / early May this year
-Vourkari (Kea),anchored off town quay, noisy , shops and restaurants expensive. Town quay open to meltemi, very few good berths.Do not recommend -Loutros (Kithnos), town quay, free water and electricity, reasonable shops and restaurants, quiet -Finika (Siros), town quay, lazy lines, free water and electricity, shops and restaurants cheaper than previous, quiet -Ormos Iannou, Naossa (Paros), at anchor - idyllic -Paroikia (Paros), town quay, lazy lines, free elec, water 5 EUR. Busy seaside town. Can recommend Ephessus restaurant. Laundry (18 EUR for 16 towels/teatowels).Good pit stop -Dhespotiko (Andiparos) – so called “sheltered” anchorage -Vathi (Sifnos) – anchorage off small sleepy village, good restaurants and mini market. Nice place, will revisit -Livadhi (Serifos) – too windy for town quay, so anchored off. Cheapest resto to date -Mericha (Kithnos) – town quay, free elec, water 2 EUR. Good resto, and supermarket at back of village
Fuel can be arranged by mini tanker at any of the town quays
Have a good trip!

My web site should provide most answers. Go to the Sailing tab, click Greece on the chart (that'll give Greece Overview) then on the left menu click S Aegean link.

Dodecanese: try to get to Symi: a gem. But avoid the harbour, it is very difficult to get a good holding and there are fierce wind gusts 90 degrees off your bow. Many charter yachts get themselves and others into trouble here. Go to Pedi Bay for anchoring and easy minibus access to Symi town. In addition; avoid the Port Police here, they were trained by the Gestapo. Another beautiful anchorage on Symi is Panormitis Bay on the SW point. An alleged 1400 year old monastary dominates this bay.
Other islands too visit: Leros, basically any bay is beautiful. Lipso and Patmos likewise. Then further north another gem is the very small island of Agathosisi with really only one nice anchoring bay - but it is a beauty with a great restaurant; the Seagull. Enjoy!
For fuel: there is a good fuel quay on the south side approach to Symi harbour - a lot cheaper diesel than Turkey. I paid 1.15 euros per litre last week. Just try to visit this in the morning as the afternoon gusts can make it a bit difficult to moor.
