I have been trying to find the dimensions (Height and Diameter) of the 2 larger Camping Gaz cylinders, the 904 and 907. Even the Camping Gaz site only states the weight of gas therein, which is not what I need
Does any one know the dimensions or can point me to an appropriate site ?

Many thanks, I now need to check gas locker size to see if either will fit.

If it helps I would guess that the 907 is about 3" higher.
If you can, go for the 907 size. The bottles aren't cheap, but the bigger one works out quite a bit less expensive. I rebuilt my locker to take the bigger bottles........which is why I have a 904 in the kitchen at the moment.

Yes the 904 works out much dearer, £18.05 here in Glasgow and only a couple quid more for the 907. An empty 907/904 is aprox £52 to buy, then extra for the gas. I have a spare 904 which I can punt if you need one.

Not quite . It is a shade under 9" 5/8 (the 904 is 1/16 over 7")

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first?
> The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

Sometimes 904's are not available but a locker that will take a 907 will also take a 904 whilst a locker that will only take a 904 . .

If you can fit Calor 3.9kg propane or 4.5kg butane (they are not a lot bigger) the gas is MUCH cheaper - roughly half the price of Camping Gaz. Empty/full bottles always available on eBay for peanuts.
