I assume that, should the sales go ahead, it would not be beyond human wit to include a covenant whereby the owner/occupant accepted that they were situated next to an active river navigation and accepted any activity as being part of the environment thay they had purchased. In essence "I bought a lock house and won't whinge that the lock gets used"
