Yet more Taylors stuff.
      #1861860 - 16/05/2008 23:23

So, I've been running my taylors stove and heater off the same pipe, split with an equal 1/4" tee compression fitting. However, the obvious problems: under heavy demands, not only does the tank need pumping more, but the pressure suffers from just having the single feed.

I do, however, have a spare connection to the tank. Groovy!
The slight problem here, is that though the nut is the same gauge as a 1/4" wade compression fitting, this fitting is just a compression stop over a jet nozzle. I seem to need a larger olive or some sort of brass compression olive that fits the larger space previously filled with the blanking plug.

Any ideas, or should i just not run everything at max at once?

just another taylors tip which may be helpful.if you get a car tyre valve brazed to the screwetop instead of the original pump, you can then use an ordinary cycle pump , or for that matter a foot pump.
gets the air in much quicker and more conveniently.
hope that's of some use.
oh and g'day mac, by the way

Hi Pete. Nice to hear from you. How's the weather in Oz? Nearly as sunny as Devon, I hope. I'll take up that tip about the foot pump.

Re: Olga. No hard feelings?..
