Found this while perusing google earth. Its in gouvia marina on corfu and using the measure it seems to be about 115ft long!! any suggestions as to the origins of the bulgy beast?? some sort of hydroplane??

It's the PAxos to Corfu hydrofoil.

Possibly a hydrofoil as the "bulges" are about where the foils would be.

foil/plane whatever man thats ugly looks like a soviet leftover from the set of thunderbirdski!! quite embarressed by my ignorance, lived just up the coast for five years.  guess i never saw it if it sails south

Its a Raketa or Kolkheda Russian Hydrofoil .

I think it used to be called PEGASSUS. the flying horse. though may be a different one now.
