Nothing to post as yet, as it hasn't started. but this is where brother Gary (mission HQ in Newcastle) will hopefully be posting updates. Brilliant Ostend weekend, good to hear about others coming back safely too. Well done and many thanks to ECBernie for putting up with Patrick and I.

I have entered the route in my GPS allowing a waypoint to clear the Lizard and another to clear the SE corner of Sao Miguel (the big island in the Azores) and then the finish at Ponta Delgada. This gives a rhumb line of 1201 miles.
When Alan's brother posts his lat and long I shall enter it in the route and post the distance to the finish.

Just use the same nav tactics as for Oostende...Get out of Plymouth, turn right a bit, nuff said

Turn right out of Plymouth for Oostende? I heard Bernie's boat was good but with that route she made fantastic speed!
