Who was that leaving Portishead on Tuesday? Flying a burgee and following Amadeous (never was a Mozart fan!) Would have taken a pic of you, white sailing boat, but SWMBO left the camera at home

Near miss earlier. I got the stuff ready to go down to the boat and put the Burgee on a worksurface in the kitchen, nice and clean like.
Then I started getting angry making a curry. I always make a curry on Thursday so it has time to ferment ready for a Friday night binge down West.
Nearly dropped a Jalferezi on me nice new burgee. That'll learn me.

It's no laughing matter. Curry is a very serious matter. A good Jalferezi, made with home grown chillies is not to be trifled with. It's a bit like the blood from the Alien films - it goes straight through carbon steel, and would make short work of the Burgee.

I've heard of chilli powder in antifoul, but it sounds like yours could be used to strip the old stuff off as well

Mine has arrived, thanks for the organising and hard work - looks very nice too. Boat goes back in next week following a refit and will have the burgee flying high!
Cheers, Steve
