'Elfin Lady', a long term resident boat at Portishead, has left this evening on the Great Escape to Spain. (First stop Penarth tonight  ). It is a Nicholson 47, and has already made the journey in the opposite direction.
My colleague Guy, is crewing on the passage, which is why I am on duty this weekend covering his shifts, and I am green with envy  (I also have a sore head after the last night goodbye and wine-drinking)
Safe passage, and give them a wave if they pass you...
