      #1881789 - 03/06/2008 22:30

Hi all now got the SSB setup and seams to be working fine so am wondering what there is to listen to, also stuf like wfax frequencies etc. Anyone got a good site for looking up useful frequencies for UK/W Europe. Also whats the best bet to chaeck/assess transmition, radio check with the local CG dosn't really stretch it!

We listened on 0693.0 (am radio!) to make sure the wiring was correct, and also on 5505.0 - robotic voice aeronautical weather.

Lots of links to freq's and timings here: http://www.yachtcom.info/

I often listen to John EA7BA on 14156USB from Almeria S.Spain to judge propagation in the early mornings 'tween about 6.30 to 8.30 GMT.
From 8.00GMT you can see if you can hear any MM's calling on 14303USB, although you'll be unlikely to hear the controller in S.London
