I spent all of last Saturday prising the windows off my boat and cleaning up the mess left behind, before gift wrapping her in polythene sheeting in an attempt to keep the weather out.
I then spent a large part of Monday morning wrapping up crazed windows before sending them off to window-making people.
Several phone calls during the week to window-making people to make sure they had received old windows and were on the case making my new ones. Also needed to interrogate them on how best to put then new ones in.
Window-making people told me I would get windows today so I could fit them on my boat tomorrow.
I am waiting patiently (well not very patiently actually) for them to arrive. They haven't come yet
Will everybody please keep everything crossed, say a little prayer, face Mecca, or do anything at all that might please make my new windows arrive?
Thank you.

It seems like many first born goats, virgins and cheesey puns have been sacrificed in vain. I am still waiting for my windows!
