I hazard a guess at August just outside of the Blackwater.
But not having got past Osea yet this is a wild stab in the mist as to the location.

As it was the Medway Barge match last weekend, I will guess that it was at first light on Sunday 1 June - hence the darkness.
As for where, it looks like anywhere off the East Coast at the mo. How about off Harwich?

Near full marks to Swedish Lass but it was Sunday and hence June! It was also frigging freezing and very gloomy. Not far from the Knoll.

Yes gold stars all round. What a difference a week makes ...
Just as well it was warmer, the helmsman snagged the dingy's painter when picking up our buoy ("I thought it was in neutral") and I had to go over the side, knife in mouth.
