Ramsgate inner harbour.
Hands up anyone who has been to Ramsgate and not cleaned their keel in the Inner Harbour somewhere - usually near the middle by that innocuous looking buoy.

I nearly did it last year.
Just scraped over. I almost had to jack the keel up.
It is a very innocent looking buoy.

Havn't hit the lump of sand you are thinking about, but I have got stuck an hour before low water trying to get out of a berth there. Only draw 1.2m as well. Very annoying when you miss the tide like that.

I've managed to avoid grounding there so far. Plenty of time though

Mental Note to Oneself "Must remember that one"

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first?
> The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

Hand up. Not in either boat, (1.7 and 2.3 m drafts!)
