I've fixed the weather for you, Fred, but can't do much about the river flow as I'm trying to control the tide in Swanage at the moment.

Well one out of two was not bad.The weather was spot on. One or two brave souls wandered out into the stream and we saw the EA boat go past but sitting on boats drinking was the order of the day.Having been "relaxing "for most of the day watching people wander in and out it was bought to my attention that the owner of this fine craft moored next door had obviously got fed up with cleaning his boat and left the job half done. The limp burgee speaks volumes but a nice selection in the fender dept.

Just got back from a wedding in Croatia, very sad to see such glorious weather with maybe a dozen boat movements just up from Penton Hook. Maybe 7 or 8 boats including two neighbours!
Certainly the warmest, sunniest day so far this year!!

In fact a tad to hot perhaps? Spent the day lurking in the saloon, while mine host went a funny pink colour because he insisted on remaining up on the flybridge.

Weather was great, but rather breezy on the coast. Had to move away from Swanage to the shelter of Ballard Down. Really hot, tempted to go for a swim, but dipped a toe in the water, bloomin freezin', that was enough of that. River flows must slow down soon, just in time for weather to change.

Hey that's me!
Didn't get fed up just distracted - Evenstar is still for sale in Southampton so we had a blast around to Hayling Island and a super meal at Sparkes.
Will be out on the boat in Bray tonight.......

Sorry to have missed you would have been nice to have been able say hello. Gather that by now you will have met my chum Charles and his missus Elaine who are your new next door neighbours on "Release" We may be coming round past Bray at end of month to collect him and his boat and heading up river weather/work/money/etc etc etc permitting.

You shamed me into cleaning some more tonight. Home now, on reflection I think "half" was generously overstating things though. Yes met the very friendly neighbours we seem to spend our time comparing cleaning products. If we're about when you come by you're welcome aboard to help us empty one of the fridges.....
