On resurrecting my nearly new inflatable/life-raft from its winter cave recently, I found that one of the male section inlet valves was damaged. Three weeks ago I ordered from Marine Megastore. They now tell me that Plastimo cannot yet get one to me before I go off on my holiday trip next Friday!!. This is an absolutely essential bit of kit for me. Has anyone got a Plastimo inflatable (I have the 2 mtr dink) that could lend me a valve for 2 weeks until I return, whence they will get a brand new one when it arrives. Thanks in anticipation. Albert.

I can't give you a valve but have you tried your local Viking Life raft service outlet as Viking keep that sort of thing in stock.

These people may well be able to help: http://www.polymarine.com/inflatable-boat-repair-service.cfm
Look under 'inflation valves' in the list to the left.
