Not often a business person tries to talk you out of giving him/her business. I spoke to Mike last week about a berth at Bray which he kindly set up. When the river went to pot and we were deciding whether to push on and go anyway he called me out of the blue and advised me not to go given the conditions. Completely voluntary and far beyond the call.
Sunday might have been on and he offered a spot off the river in Windsor.
I may actually do the run on Wednesday in one hop as the river has slowed and I may be able to make 8km/h stick. But I have to say I will always make a point of stopping at one of his marinas if I have the chance.
Thanks for the help Mike.

Can only concur.
Mike was very forthcoming with help and offer of facilities on my recent jaunt up the Thames. Together with other forumites made me feel most welcome.

Mike is the friendly face of corporate business. He has done more good for MDL's image than a raft of P.R. men.

Actions speak louder than words, in my experience too.
I have had real and practical offers of help from Mike, and we're not yet paying customers!
No, don't laugh yet, we WILL be next week
