I walked past Arthur Beal chandlers today in shaftsbury ave, I never knew it existed. Unfortunately i did not have time to go in. I am rarely in that part of town, I was wondering if its worth making the effort to go there? Is it a good shop?

I've used them and found them OK. The made up a set of wires for the guard rails and supplied flares and bits and pieces. You can always phone or fax them to check they have what you want.
Telephone: (020) 7836 9034
Fax: (020) 7836 5807
They have/had a good turn over in pyrotechnics because they supply the theatres, at least that's what they told me.
I think it depends how far would you need to travel and who else is convenient but they have survived when others have disappeared so they must be doing something right.
