The old fashioned type that can take AA batteries. Must be in good working order!!

I think that you can buy the battery cradle separately - you don't need to buy the whole thing.

Argh!! its the radio I want. Its to complement the one I have and I want the one that will take the batteries. ( they go in my grab bag, the LiLion is better but may not always be charged.)
