I put an item on ebay. I let you know. If you want it, you can bid, which you couldn't unless you found it yourself. If you don't want it, ignore it. - Nough said!

Ignore the grips and stick to your guns. There is nothing unreasonable in putting something on eBay in a fair and open auction and letting people know on this site.

an interesting comment after just 3 days on the forum.

If the several thousand users all put an individual link to all their ebay items, this board will be flooded with adverts for stuff that nobody can buy on here.

First off - ebay auctions can be cancelled for a variety of reasons - you usually loose your insertion fee though.
The trend of putting stuff on ebay and advertising it here is annoying to say the least - this is a for sale board, it is either for sale or it isn't ... this isn't a "link to my auction" board.

Finally, IMHO If you advertise on here you should be prepared to remove it from Ebay if a price can be agreed ...

Sorry didn't realise only 'regulars' were entitled to an opinion

Regulars generally have a better picture of what goes on ...

ask a new employee what his opinion of the company is, then ask an employee of 10 years ... you will get two completely different pictures of the same company.

Ignore them mate. If they are so easily annoyed, why can't they just move to the next item and be annoyed there? (A regular!)

I didnt say you were not entitled to an opinion - of course you are.

I was just 'interested' that you were making assertive statements about what is reasonable or not, on your 4th post.

No more from me - I've had enough of this, too. ;

Thanks for posting here - I find it helpful, and have placed a bid.
