No turning back now...
      #1908919 - 26/06/2008 21:13

Hit the big red button today and Whitelighter IV is bought and paid for

Spent a very long day in Sweden yesterday doing a bit of snagging and such and the good news is the list is fairly short. Collection with RickP and Col is game on for Tuesday and I am starting to look forward to it.

I know the boat is bought through our business, and while it will be used as a demonstrator in the main, it is still my money and I have been very involved at a personal level. I guess what I am trying to say is she still feels very much our boat.

Hence the use of our prefered name on this one. This is a boat I wanted to buy first and be a dealer for second.

So forgive me a few little new boat shots, if all else fails and we never sell a single one worst ways we have a boat we really like and that isnt so bad

Nice and smooth at 30knts

A bit of Swedish countryside

The obligatory forum wake shot

And all tucked up, waiting for a few final jobs and an 800nm trip home

Looking great jez. I can read the excitment in your post. And quite rightly so. She looks brilliant.

And did a little birdie tell me she hit speeds over 40knts? : grin:

Cheers

I am very Jealous, Business or not she is amazing and I hope she lives up to her billings! Lots more pics please!!!

No lol, that is actually one of their build canopies, and in that photo the front is still rolled up. My canopy wil be fitted last thing monday, but it is the same colour.

Trip should be good - I think there will be lots of pics by RickP, though you had better like lighthouses!

Thanks, she is not the biggest 34ft boat in the world, but it suits us.

Money wise, we're somewhere around £££,£££, but trying not to think about that bit

Looks fantastic, Jez. Some nice detail touches like the outboard mounted handrail stanchions, stainless hatch to the accomodation and the timber/stainless trim around the cockpit. I like the helm too, looks classy and with a chart table too. Any interior pics?
I'm sure you'll sell a few of these

She's a lovely looking boat Jez..I should imagine the build quality must be very good and solid.

I can't believe no-ones commented on the Stopp! sticker..

Stopp.....she's not ready yet!!!! but she will be soon

Alright I know the real reason but my childish mind wandered.

Looking good Jez, quite a few subtle changes and I must say the tan covers look nice too and compliment the abundant 12mm teak!

I'm sure it will be a great trip back and I'm looking forward to seeing all the lighthouses.

Enjoy!

Okay, okay, I'll try and take some photos of something other than bridges and lighthouses. Though the Rendsburg transporter bridge is somewhat interesting if you're into that sort of thing! Oh, just me? Never mind

Looking good!!

Best of luck on the trip back. Hope the weather gods co-operate and Col's legendary skills are not called upon.

To be clear, ahem, I am quite clear that the boat is 100% an asset of the business and is in no way intended for, or will be used for, personal pleasure or use.

Jez, I am really pleased for you. But, don't take her to Greece. I couldn't take another of your Grecian adventure posts.

I am sure she will meet more than your expectations.
