...and is not going to be able to do much sailing this year. I had hoped to get a few trips to Brittany this year but will now be in need of crew. Any takers?

Yessir. SWMMBO similarly unable to crew, so would be quite happy to do some exchange crewing. PM some thoughts.

My wife often says she has a bad back, but I think it's quite nice.
Her front is pretty good as well.

Find yourself a 19 year old Swedish au pair type crew - guarantee that SWMBO will come along, back or no.
