Master and Commander wannabe maybe? Not very practical it has to be said, but I really like it when you find someone nuts enough about boats to build something like that... Want a fair whack for it mind you!

She was ashore in Totness a few years ago, agree she's unusual but the standard of construction was amazing, I was told by the then owner (Aussie John),that she'd been up the Amazon and all sorts. I still have one of the brass oil lamps off her which was given to me at the start of sailing our restored 5 tonner from Devon to Hartlepool. She was massively built and coppered below the waterline. Lovely boat built by a craftsman for his own use on a backbone built by a well known yard in Scotland if I recall. Regards, Mike.
