Forum connection problems
      #1913512 - 01/07/2008 14:16

I've been in contact with the moderators, and they are aware of connectivity issues, and are working to sort them.

If you are not logged in, you can probably still read messages.

If you are logged in, then do not try to use the main menu, as that times out. Use the 'jump' facility at bottom right of page to navigate between forums.

Thanks B, had that problem for hours now and keep giving up on it. Any forecast for when it's going to be fixed ?.

No detailed information, just that they are aware and working on it, and would be grateful if I could post a message to that effect where people can see it, so apologies for multiple posting against forums rules, as many will be struggling to see a post in just one forum. Dan will OK that when the problem is sorted and he has time to post himself.

Cross posting in these circumstances makes it easier for all I think, just passing your message to Lenseman now, also unable to get in

tell him to go to main www.ybw.com page, click on one of the old forum posts. Many seem able to get in that way, if they have auto login enabled.

Got him in by sending a link to this thread, which also helped as it's all explained too

I found going into IE tools and deleting my cookies and history solved my connection problems.

It's not a cookie problem, it's a more generic problem. You probably just deleted the cookies at an opportune moment that let you get in. Forum is actually working OK at the moment with the odd glitch, though it's up and down a lot

and if anyone is reading, and can't log in, if you have auto log in enabled....try looking at the main www.ybw.com page, and 'read' one of the old forum posts, and you should get in, and can then navigate and post.
