They are not really offering that much. I think there is currently a huge correction in the pricing of UK property and any business selling non essential items will soon feel massively reduced consumer demand. Even Lord Harris pointed this out in today's FT. The large boat builders will be fine as they have a global target audience, but lower down the food chain its a very different picture.

I know what you are saying about the size thing, if we had seen the Prestige 36 we might have gone for that instead, we started off looking at the 805 Leader as something a bit bigger than the Bayliner we had, so at the time the 32 was huge to us. We are only selling to get something a little bigger, great time to buy, naff time to sell We still think the boat is great, really seaworthy and enjoy the time on it, which makes dropping the price too far hard to justify as even when fuel goes up to £1.50 a litre a price drop of £5K is worth 3300 litres of fuel – which is a heck of a lot of sea time. Wonder whether SMB got the asking price for that stock boat?

I doubt it. I bet even with a decent Trade in they took a bit of a hit. In the current Climate I would keep yours and let things settle down. If Flybridges in your range do drop 10/15% in value you are better losing that off the 32 and then gaining on the purchase of the 36. But I do not think a full correction has hit home yet. As always it will be the cost to swop that is important!
Cheers

Think anyone would be a head case to buy a moboat this year, fuel prices through the roof, resale almost imposible and the weathers making them unusable.
