Ah, I wish I was young again (not that I don't know how to act it) coz its that time of year again. Wakestock (European wake-board championships and music festival) is being held at Abersoch this weekend. Not really my kinda music but the atmosphere is great. If the weather is kind to us, we may go over by boat.
Anyone else around?

Dave, planning to come round in the boat from Conwy on Saturday, return Sunday. However the weather may be an issue, I have seen a worsening forecast this evening with a big low predicted for Saturday in the West! Memories of last year when we never got away from the marina and stayed wet for 3 days are still haunting me too!

I'd give it a miss James - it would be great to meet up with you but the forecast isn't just bad, its very bad. Winds from the SE mean that all my side of the peninsular is lumpy, with 3.1M waves forecast for Saturday (yep, thats about 11 foot!). Don't take the risk - its too far for you to get it wrong! Staying up your side affords shelter from the S' Easterlies.
I can forsee a gaggle of wet teenagers pitching up at my static van..."Daaaad - can we have some money to go to the club and wash & dry our clothes and Daaad, can we stay here"
Blimmin' ground-hog day! Shaping up just like last year!
