Hi,a while back i had a day sail in a Rowen, from what i remember it was a roomy boat with standing headroom, and pretty good accomodation,i think she was triple keeled as well, the 22 is a completly different boat i think.

The 22 is the original Macwester Rowan. The 24 is the Rowan Crown . Very similar, perhaps some would describe it as a stretched version. Pretty sure that the cockpit accounts for a good bit of the extra length.

the 24 ft has standing headroom (6ft) and separate heads; also very large cockpit; briliant boats.

Hi, Just returned from a four day cruise in my Rowan Crown. Main benefits: large deep cockpit, long keel, heavy boat (three tons) for a 24ft boat, all three providing a pretty safe boat when the weather turns. There is good access into the cockpit from a tender via a removable part of the transom. Inside: standing headroom, the forward cabin large enough for adults (unlike many similar sized boats, where the forward cabin is just suitable for children) and seperate heads. I don't know the 22ft version, the Rowan, so can't compare. Simon
